Sunshine is a Worksman Adaptable industrial tricycle that apparently saw some intense use and a little
abuse during its working life.  The frame is a bit dented and slightly bent between the crank and the
rear platform.  It was spray painted blue when I bought it.  I stripped it down to it's original factory
safety orange powder coat finish, with was badly scuffed, particularly at the step-over area where
years of shoe scraping has worn it down to bare metal.

I applied a thick glossy clear coat to maintain that rough look.  I installed a different Ashtabula crank with a
slightly larger clover leaf 40 tooth chain ring, cleaning and lubing the bottom bracket bearings while I was at it.
I installed and greased up new pillow block bearings and a suspension fork, also cleaning and lubing those bearings.
The pedals are of the vintage Schwinn rubber block type.  I intend to replace the stem and handlebars and
to add an electric hub motor and front disc brake.  The present drive train uses an old Shimano coaster
brake adapted to tricycle application by the addition of a second sprocket.  I'm considering obtaining
a disc brake internally geared hub and adding a second sprocket in place of a disc rotor.

  UPDATE: September 2022
I've done most of what I intended to do to Orange Sunshine.

I created a battery pack from 4 Dewalt knock-off 20V 6Ah drill batteries, using some battery cradles that are
sold as "power wheel adapters."  Apparently there is a popular type of kid's electric vehicle toy called
Power Wheel, and people are using drill batteries to power them.  I created an array of two pairs in parallel
to double their amp/hour ratings, then put those pairs in series to double their voltage, so I ended up with a
nominal 40V 12Ah battery pack.  I'm using that to power an EBikeKit 24 inch front motor hub wheel, and I
installed a disc rotor to that hub.

I added a chrome front fender and chrome chain guard, both of which required some modification to fit, and
I replaced the old quill stem with a 1 inch threaded to 1 1/8 inch unthreaded stem adapter.  To this, I added
new chrome BMX riser handlebars.
